
The management team of the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) has conducted a site visitation to its administrative building on Bai Bureh Road, Freetown.The team was led by the Executive Director, Mr. James Bagie Bio and senior directors, inspected the ongoing construction work, assessing progress and discussed operational readiness.The contractor disclosed that 96% of the construction work has been completed, with final touches being applied to the modern office complex. The building features state-of-the-art facilities, including spacious offices, conference rooms, and advanced ICT infrastructure, designed to provide a conducive working environment for staff.Bio emphasized the importance of the new building in enhancing SLRSA’s capacity to deliver its mandate. “This facility will significantly improve our operational efficiency, enabling us to better serve the public and drive road safety initiatives,” he said.The visit highlights SLRSA’s commitment to improving infrastructural development in line with His Excellency’s national agenda Five Game Changer.The Deputy Executive Director, Mr. Josie Abraham Scott-Manga applauded both management and the contractor for their effort and commitment in ensuring the speedy completion of the project. He urged the contractor to stick to the agreed time for the official handing over of the completed building.
