
All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirant Dr. Ibrahim Bangura has declared that his campaign for the party’s symbol is anchored on unity, inclusiveness, and recognition for all members.Speaking to party faithful as the APC continues its internal electoral process, Dr. Bangura emphasized that his vision is to restore the true meaning of the party’s name, All People’s Congress, by ensuring no one feels excluded.“My campaign focuses on bringing everyone together. I don’t want to see a ‘Some People’s Congress,’ I want to see an All People’s Congress,” he said.“If you look at my campaign coinage- Heal, Unite, Build, it is about creating a system where people have the voice, the identity, the recognition, and the place they deserve in the APC and in Sierra Leone.”Dr. Bangura used the occasion to appeal for peace, unity, and discipline throughout the contest, extending an olive branch to all members.“The world knows I have always been a peacebuilder in the party. At some point, I was formally invited to facilitate peace. My arms are open to everybody; you have a place. Come and join us, and be rest assured we shall work with you,” he added.His remarks come at a critical moment for the APC as it navigates its internal elections, with aspirants making their case to delegates and supporters.
