RCBANK ACCELERATES CAMPAIGN ON DIGITAL PAYMENT SYSTEMS
In a massive push in support of the emergence of the National Switch and instant payments popularized by Bank of Sierra Leone, RCBank has commissioned the Popular Stand Up Comedian, influencer and Brand Ambassador Kindo Armani to promote their instant payment products and services and the national switch all over the Western Area
The campaign encourages customers to sign up for the national switch and also use Rokel Bank’s instant digital payment systems like the Rokel Sim Korpor, Rokel ekorpor, Rokel prepaid cards and Visa debit card. The drive is part of the bank’s ambitious marketing drive that has invariably repositioned it as a leading financial services provider in Sierra Leone and the subregion. More importantly, as indicated earlier, the accelerated campaign is aimed at promoting financial inclusion and the National Payment Switch recently launched by the Bank of Sierra Leone.
Alongside the bank’s VISA activation campaign team, Kindo Armani engaged passers-by, restaurant owners, shop owners, private and public sector workers to educate them about products to “unlock the world”. The Rokel Sim Korpor digital platform links customers to a world of banking opportunities through the products and services offered by the bank.
As he brilliantly educated the public on the revolutionary digital payment solutions, Kindo Armani summed up;
“With RCBank pre-paid card, you don’t need to have a bank account. The card can be used anywhere in the world where cards are accepted. We are making payments seamless in Sierra Leone – and just with a VISA card, you can shop online, pay bills, make hotel and airline bookings and perform international transactions with ease.” He further articulated the power of digital banking via Rokel Banks ebasket and features of the sim Korpor. He indicated that Rokel Bank was fully prepared for the national switch and urged all to sign up.
To obtain a VISA card, a customer (who is not under any obligation to have a bank account) only needs to contact the bank with a valid ID and a NLE 200 initial deposit. The benefits are almost limitless as an RCBANK card holder can do many things including accessing cash through any Automated Teller Machine (ATM) around the world.
The cards are part of RCBank’s efforts to provide modern, safe, and efficient banking services. They are also part of the banks long running initiative to promote financial inclusion by reaching out to individuals excluded in the banking system.
Generally, the cards make up an impressive E-banking package also known as “E -baskit” which serves as a hub for all the bank’s electronic products and services including online and mobile banking. Customers can avoid visiting physical branches for various banking activities, saving time and effort.
